Student Feedback on Teaching and Learning
The University of Hong Kong is committed to the use of student ratings as one of the many means to improve the teaching and learning of courses. All teachers, demonstrators, tutors and courses are normally evaluated by students each semester, using questionnaires endorsed by the Senate Teaching and Learning Quality Committee (TLQC). Results of all evaluation are traditionally made known to students via the Staff-Student Consultative Committees and appropriate action for improvements is then taken through such consultation. More information can be found on the HKU Teaching and Learning website at http://tl.hku.hk and specifically about SETL here: https://tl.hku.hk/tl/student-feedback-on-teaching-and-learning-sftl/
The HKUSSRC has the responsibility of developing and operating a centralised system for the design, printing, processing and reporting of all evaluations, which normally uses online evaluation for all undergraduate courses on the standard semester system and paper forms otherwise.
